PETITGRAIN ESSENTIAL OIL (Relaxing and Calming)
Oil obtained from the leaves, twigs and unripe fruit of the bitter orange tree. It used to be distilled from little unripe oranges hence petitgrain - means little grains. Obtained from the same tree that Neroli is extracted from.
Bittersweet odour. Fresh, flowery light perfume with woody herbaceous undertones. Similar to Neroli.
Antiseptic, deodorant, relaxing, refreshing, rejuvenating.
40-80% esters mainly linalyl acetate and geranyl acetate, linalol, nerol, terpineol, geraniol, nerolidol, farnesol, limonene among others.
Citrus aurantium amara Leaf Oil
Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
