EARS
Middle Ear Inflammation:
2 drops Chamomile Roman
2 drops Lavender
1 drop Eucalyptus
5 ml Base Oil of choice
Mix together and apply around outer of ear and surrounding area. Dip a little cotton wool into blend and use as an ear plug.
Middle Ear Infection:
2 drops Tea Tree
2 drops Lavender
1 drop Eucalyptus
5 ml Base Oil of Choice
Mix together and trickle into the ear, plug with cotton wool. Do not use this method if a perforated ear drum has been diagnosed. If so, apply externally around the whole ear.
Excessive Ear Wax:
10 ml Grapeseed Oil
1 drop of Juniperberry
Warm the oil blend very gently to reach blood temperature. Lie on your side and pour the oil into the ear (it's easier if you can get someone to help with this). Stay in position for 10 to 15 minutes and then tip the head to empty the oil from the ear canal.
Repeat on opposite ear if needed. After treatment flush the ears gently with warm water - the shower is perfect for this. Any earwax will be broken down to be released naturally of its own accord. Please do not use a cotton bud or anything else to delve into the ear canal as this may impact the wax further and exacerbate the problem.
